My image taken from JING is available to see above. Waltke's Web was a site I was introduced to when I was doing my student teaching. There are activities available online that correlate with the stories in the Reading books used in the public schools. Many of the activities are interactive and I used the site daily for the "Daily Fix It." I would project the sentence on the white board and the students brainstormed and identified the mistakes and then as a class we fixed the mistakes using the pen and white board. Very great site!! It is available on my Portaportal.
My SCREENCAST is also taken from my Portaportal. I included a video I use in my math interventions session I have with students. It is interactive and requires using the white board and pen. The students love getting out of their seats and participating in activities that involve the white board and pen. I also as a teacher enjoy teaching lessons like these because the students are way more interested.
Learning Outcomes:
1.) The file that comes out of JING is a .png file.
2.) I saved my first image that I took of the screen I was working on into my username on my computer. It than uploaded as an image. The video was saved using Screencast and uploaded in a link that directs you to the video I created.
3.) I uploaded my first JING image as a picture. The second image I uploaded as a link that I copied and pasted from Screencast.
4.) I published my artifact much like I did using the snipping tool. The video I couldn't upload directly as a video, it was a link.
5.) I can upload the picture of my image to a friend as a photo which is why I created the arrows and said "Click Here" so you would know that's where to click if you were on my Portaportal. The video through Screencast is shared as a link you click on that directs you to the correct webpage.
